Master Them To Master Your Life.

1. Take 100% Responsibility Of Your Life
Everything you experience in your life is the result of your actions. This is maybe one of the most fundamental and basic principles in life. If you want to be successful in whatever field you choose and achieve your set goals, you have to take 100% responsibility for everything that happens in your life…your level of performance, the results you produce, the quality of your relationships, your state of mental and physical health, your finances, your feelings - everything! Only when you understand that it is you who is in charge, you open up to the possibilities of actually changing your life to the better. Make yourself clear that everything around you is the result of your thoughts, words and actions.
“When obstacles arise, you change your direction to reach your goal. You do not change your decision to get there.” – Zig Ziglar
Jack Canfield talks about the formula E + R= O (Event + Response = Outcome). Every outcome in your life is determined by the external event happening in your life and your response to it. It does not matter whether the outcome is success or failure, thriving business or mediocre job, wealth or social status, healthy relationships or physical sickness, fun or frustration. If you are not happy with the results of what you see in your life, because you can’t control the events happening in YOUR life, you are left with only one choice, changing your response till the time you get the desired outcome.
2. Know Your Purpose
Let me be very honest. It’s easier to say than to actually do. According to my experience, knowing Your Life’s purpose by constantly searching for it or questioning or pondering on it is going drain your energy and going to leave you clueless.
I want you to encourage yourself to release your intention of knowing your purpose and let go of any pressure you might be feeling around the topic. Connecting with your life’s purpose and living the life of purpose is a beautiful journey which typically unfolds in mysterious and surprising ways. Like a work of the master sculptor – with every life experience, slowly chipping away the stone to reveal the hidden masterpiece.
Let’s try to understand this from a more realistic perspective. We live on this planet for a predetermined period of time, from birth to death. In this life between B to D (birth and death) we do have lots of Cs (choices) which makes us do lots of things. Some of these are important and some are not. Those important things give our lives more meaning and happiness. The unimportant ones basically just kill time.
Asking right question and use of introspection can hasten the process of unearthing your Life’s purpose. Regularly take time to contemplate and constantly ask the question “What is the best One thing I can do now, with the time available to me?”. This would chip off the unwanted pieces of the rock faster.
3. Understand What Does Success Mean To YOU
In order to be successful, you must first define it – majority of personnel haven’t. Success means different things to different people. What is success for somebody else may not be considered as success by you. Be very clear about what you want and don’t want for your life. Things start moving in the right direction with clarity. Clarity produces excitement, which in-turn produces momentum. Momentum produces behavioural change, which brings desired results and eventually, your internal vision becomes an external reality. Defining success in your own terms is the key.
